But did you not see any of the games he played in his first few months here? The first couple of months of the 2017/2018 season especially. Surely even his biggest fans can acknowledge that he was indeed utter shite during that first few months! I think he’s good enough now - Whelan and Jedinak are done IMO (Jedinak maybe against proper physical teams). Will be interesting to see whether we bother with a DM anymore. In my opinion he's consistently shown that anywhere other than DM he is awful. Maybe in the last few minutes of a game to add some "energy", as that is basically his only attribute.
