I think given the set up with Steve Round and that fact we didn't choose a 'Pot 1' (tm Richard) manager last time out, we'll go for a Pot 2/3 manager and I 'd be happy with that.

Wagner first for me, would be happy with Warburton too.  Can't see us being able to get Howe or Dyche where we are now.

I'd really like to be excited by whoever it is though.

lets go for Warbuton, he's better bread

We could have Jesus Christ himself with his Dad as No2 and Chuck Norris on the door at Bodymoor, but until we get some midfielders who aren't 150% RACKED OFF then were going nowhere.............

Jedinak = Jediwank

Westwood = Shite

Garder = Abysmal

hearing that Brian McDermott is in line to come in, with Nigel Gibbs agreeing to follow him....

Obviously not my choice but i'd get behind them if appointed

McCarthy would be a disaster, ask any Wolves fans

He got them promoted, kept them in the Premier League in his first season and had a few bad results in the second Premier League season.

As soon as they sacked him it went pear shaped with two successive relegations.

Is that true?  Sauce?

Difficult one because I've pieced that together from past rumours, media talk, something I heard yesterday during my fifteen minutes, which was again more rumour than fact. That kind of stuff. It's a little bit unfounded, basically, but I believe in it.

Sherwood: 250 days, P28 W10 D2 L16

MacDonald: 9 days, P2, W0, L2

Garde: 148 days, P23, W3, D7, L13

Black: 65 days, P7 W0, D1, L6

Di Matteo: 124 days, P12, W1, D7, L4

Horrific.

Actually even if you took the stats out and just looked at the names.....its easy to see where we are going wrong.

Bruce for me. We need some stability and experience. It's ok getting a young and hungry manager in but I think managing us is a high pressure job and they would need time to settle etc. Which they may not necessarily get.

Bruce would come in, go back to basics and take it from there. Could even offer a contract until the end of the season with an extension should we get promoted/ playoffs.

I'm assuming from the comments made when appointed that Steve Round will have an input on this appointment. I'm sure he wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly.

It has though been obvious for some time that Di Matteo was as capable as Fat Sam at keeping his mouth shut after a pint of wine.

So I'm hoping they've already identified who they want and an appointment will be made quickly.

We are the joke of English football right now.

The bottom four on that list make Sherwood look like Alex Ferguson!

Sherwood's win rate is second to none of those
