Just interpret the opposite of what she is saying at all times. Wallace or Sunak the next PM I would guess.

Seems like the initial reaction. However, with Braverman she literally resigned yesterday as she breached the ministerial code. I know it is likely it was a "convenient excuse", but if she wasn't fit to remain as Home Secretary, why on earth should she be fit to be PM?!

Jareth
It will be seen as a coup by everyone not in Sunak's camp - they simply won't be able to get anything through parliament. GE by Xmas.

StefanAVFC
Please let it be Braverman. It'll be a Tory party ending disaster.
sidcow Posted October 20, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted October 20, 2022 If I was a Tory MP I would seriously consider voting strategically to ensure whichever nutter puts themselves forward gets knocked out early. If they put forward another one the membership are bound to go for them.
Chindie Posted October 20, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted October 20, 2022 Mordaunt's hat is in the ring. It'll be her or Sunak.
ender4
Would Sunak even want the PM job anymore? Surely he knows it’s too far gone to be able to govern for the next 2 years.
