Players you've completely forgotten about

Talking of forgotten footballers, anyone have any idea who this player is, in Villa kit between 91 and 93 - think it was a pre-season game away at Witney Town, that's my home town and in our facebook group we're trying to work out who it is. We've got Garry Parker on there and he can't remember.... (We're talking the dude with dark hair in the foreground!)

That is Ian Ormondroyd behind him isn't it? He left in September 1991. The Witney v Villa game was 1st August 1991 (they also played each other 8th October 1992 according to a Google search)

We hadn't signed Garry Parker then, thats probably why he doesn't remember. He joined in November 1991 ;)

As for the player, no idea! Maybe a trialist?

Bit more on the picture, seems to be almost certain it's a triallist called Adrian Randall who was between clubs at the time... This has come from Mat Kendrick

Has the Mat Kendrick got any update on why the Triallist was fondling himself at the time?

Leandro Bacuna has signed for Watford after being released by Cardiff. To supply passes to Keinan Davis? Poor Keinan.

He be playing 60 yard back passes for Hause to chase

Watford make some random signings don't they, Dan Gosling was in their squad still last season somehow.

If Bacuna has barely played lately for Cardiff I don't see how he can be good enough for Watford.

Man dined out on that cross against Sunderland for about 100 games.

Abhorrent footballer who got literally worse every single season culminating in him getting roasted in the Championship.

Rewarded with a 4 - 5 year deal at Cardiff where again he got worse every season, and likely got a pay up for it.

These type of players are the problem. Not the ones earning 350k a week.

Thing is Bacuna was actually quite good in his first season for us.

At RB.

Was always a mediocre CM yet we kept playing him there after that season for some reason under a few managers.

Was actually a surprise to me he got dropped for the cup final (not that it would've made much difference) as he'd set up a few goals for Benteke in the revival under Sherwood and Hutton just got exposed by Arsenal's pace and offered little going forward.

Just one of those who showed potential, got a bumper new contract and just coasted after knowing we were so bad he'd still get a regular start despite poorer performances.

Sinisa Mihajlovic dead from Leukemia, only 53 y.o. Loved him as a player. One of the all time great FK hitters.

Sad news.

Part of the Yugoslavia golden generation, what a team they would have had in the 90s if the breakup of Yugoslavia hadn't occurred.

Its sad for him and his family but the praise today is weird as any mention of him over the years on English forums etc. was always followed by words like scumbag for example

He was a great player but he did some nasty stuff in his career. I think he cleaned up his act a little as a manager
