Over the past 2 seasons, we're drawing and losing games, I always have this glimmer of hope that we'll pull off a shock ending and heroically snatch a victory or something. Every match I'm disappointed.

 

I wondered if something might happen right at the death tonight. I quickly told myself not to be stupid, we don't do that any more.

Forgot what it felt like to get three points! We dominated them and it looked like we were being rotten luck again but thank **** for that penalty. What a cool finish by Benteke. Motm Gabby. He was immense.

Anyone felt Benteke was purposely playing bad to earn a move? I think so. HOWEVER the footballing soul of the man overcame the cynicism - I hope he now goes on to finish the season like he should.
