TrentVilla Posted November 8, 2016 Moderator Share Posted November 8, 2016 Terrible choice but admire him for it, the idiot. As for Marhez he would have gone had he had the chance so not the same situation.
VillaChris
Vardy has said himself he didn't think he'd fit into Arsenal's style which is what basically everyone said. I don't think he'd have played much...Lucas Perez has barely featured and they look well set with Alexis upfront and Giroud as back up.

He hung around to see out the Leicester story, as did Mahrez. Even in all probability to the detriment of the player's career. Good lad. Silly lad. I disagree with the bolded bit (everything else I agree with)... i think his career would have regressed at Arsenal as I don't think he would have been first choice. He stayed loyal, obviously with a massive new contract, and I hugely respect him for that.
Rugeley Villa
It's about playing games. He would of hardly played at arsenal and would of done **** all when he did. He was right to stay. Deep down he knew he weren't good enough for arsenal.

rjw63
They are doing just what we did in 1982, average league showing but doing well in Europe

I believe Man City were relegated in 1937-38 having won it the year before. Interesting to see who won the second tier division that season too
NurembergVillan Posted December 3, 2016 Moderator Share Posted December 3, 2016 I was going to bang a tenner on them getting relegated straight after they won the league. Coulda, woulda, shoulda...
HanoiVillan
It's looking increasingly likely. Can't believe they've managed to lose to that shower from Sunderland.

Mantis
Don't think they'll get relegated but they'll finish bottom half easily. And I'm not surprised in the slightest.

Porto are half decent tbf. I think their problem is their two main players have not performed anywhere near the same level as they did last season. Not surprisingly given how brilliant they were they would have a dip the following season. same with Payet at west Ham

Rugeley Villa
The fickleness has already started to set in. They have been booed off more than once this season.

Yeah their fans have become a bit 'Man United', I find it hard to have a conversation with them now.
Xela
Ranieri should have quit after they won the league. He'll never top that as a career high!
