  1. Good player. Never fit. Unsure where he would play in our team over others.
  2. Just fills out our midfield options really well. Higher progressive passes, and a threat from range - which we don't have. (Even if he only gets 2 a season, the opposition will know he is a threat and use up tactical bandwidth up to stop him) He hasn't had an irrecoverable Dele Alli-type dip - he's just had a big money move vetoed and stuck in a team which refused to spend any money to make it worth staying. He'll be great for us. I actually think Emery will want to move to 433 in certain games and was unable to do that this year. Our future signings will be selected to give him that option imo.
  3. He actually looks pretty fit and lean with a bit of pace in that video.

    Ezri Konsa

Much more like the Konsa we saw during COVID that left us wondering why he didn't get a call up. Went through an extended tricky patch last year where it wouldn't have been a surprise if he had been replaced as a priority (similarly to McGinn and Watkins) When he's in this form is just glides through games with a sense of control... whether it's with or without the ball, or manipulating strikers as he wants. A very good player. Amazing he was only £12m
  5. £6m with add-ons to about £8m seems a fair deal for both clubs and Naka.
  6. I think European football with Villa will have a big sway on Emi, even if it is the Conference League. If we would have missed out, I think he would've been tempted by a move.
  7. Is it confirmed? So shit. I'm assuming it's meant to be harking back to this one on the historical kits website...
  8. Pretty sure Bannan went bald a couple of seasons ago too. Trip to Turkey?
  9. I just think it had a big impact on Mings having to pelt back because he lost ground going around the offside player. That meant when Undav headed it to the side of Mings, his momentum was too much to control. In short, Mings' decision process and movement were interfered with to the extent where Brighton gained an advantage. I like how Brighton clearly worked on something to beat our offside trap, they're one of the only teams to try and counteract it, but I think they were successful because they did something 'illegal'. PGMOL need to be able to see that.
  10. My suspicion is that we will go for a couple of high-profile, high-quality free signings that leave us with a bit more in the pot to go for another couple of expensive signings. I think players like Ceballos and Asensio are being chased because of that, with others such as Nelson, and Bellarin being the notch below.
  11. I think a brilliant thing about Mings is that he only really converted to CB when he came to us. That is an astonishing amount of progress in a very short amount of time and games.
  12. How the hell Brighton's goal doesn't get chalked off is beyond me. Mings has to run around a player stood in an offside position, meaning he can't get close enough to Undav who scores. I just don't understand how that can be acceptable.

    Jed Steer

The play-off semi saves were incredible. However, I remember the draw against Chelsea in the cup that went to penalties after Archer scored. Steer's dives were so slow the ball had hit the net and been collected before he landed. It was so strange, like he was buffering or something.
  14. Let's not forget that we are a **** good side at the minute as well. In fact, scratch that...it's not 'at the minute' were the second best team in the league over the last 21 games.
  15. Could you have a wankgoblin or a cockpuffin?
  16. Is wankpuffin > cockgoblin or wankpuffin < cockgoblin?
  17. Really strange reaction from him when he should have had a penalty today. Having seen it on highlights, I thought it was one of the clearest penalties to give...yet Watkins didn't even ask for it. Psychologically the lack of protest must have had an effect on the ref. (Well, as much as it could have done to the biased MF)
  18. What the hell was that 'analysis' of our game on MOTD? Worthless.
  19. It would be nice to be influenced by the first kits...but the first few years after our inception are truly terrible.
  20. The Reebok 1998/1999 away is one of my favourite ever shirts. UA had a go at a copy but failed completely. I wouldn't mind Castore having another go.
  21. Involved constantly and had some really good touches in the build up and in the wolves' box...unfortunately, he didn't get the final pass right. Sa pulled off a great save that stopped him having a goal today. Out most likely outlet.
  22. His touch was great, but his strength, passing and delivery was poor Did not offer a lot today at all and actually helped wolves in the first half.
  23. Thought he'd levelled near the end of the second half. Great clearance by Lindelof.
  24. Casimero gets a yellow for his early tackle and his game changes so Ramsey becomes more present. Was quiet today, but the refereeing aided United's job in doing that.
  25. It's something I just can't get my head around. Out VAR system doesn't work if incorrect decision aren't sorted out because of the ref making the decision first. Im.still of the opinion that there shouldn't be a VAR official making a decision....the ref should always go over to the monitor himself to re-watch. At least it's only one person in charge then.
