Zhan_Zhuang
Although his job was to play it safe and defensive against Liverplop I remember he did make a run down the flank and whip in a great cross.

Dr_Pangloss
Good player and has done well but he's starting to get a bit of a liability in his own box, not quite Frank Sinclair mind...
VillaChris
Come on the Hull one was just unlucky...he could've done better yesterday but the Ox was lurking behind him ready to score.
Keyblade
The Hull one wasn't an own goal tbh. To be fair, he had the right idea in both situations to try to clear it around the net (if he left the Arsenal one, Chamberlain would have definitely got to it, so it was good defending)...he just needs to improve his execution of that.

Zatman
dont blame him for own goal same way I never blamed Dunne for the own goals he scored. Defender has to take that risk as if he doesnt the striker has a near-tap in

samjp26
Feel that this guy was really unlucky with his own goal (potentially 2 in fact). Apart from that, he has been solid, both going forward and also at the back. Made an amazing reaction block yesterday that even he himself couldn't believe. So refreshing to see an actual defender at left back, and he has shown he can do it against the big teams too (even if we have lost). Absolute bargain. BleedClaretAndBlue
Made an amazing reaction block yesterday that even he himself couldn't believe. I think that reaction was one of relief that he didnt notch yet again. But yeah he's done really well for us on the whole, great piece of business. AVTuco Posted October 18, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted October 18, 2014 After a good start has dropped off a bit. I'm not sure why. Mental? Own goals getting to him? All he needs is confidence. He has the ability.
Dodgyknees
Poor crossing today and was left exposed due to us being very narrow and using the full backs for width.
Dr_Pangloss
His crossing was woeful today.
AVTuco Posted October 18, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted October 18, 2014 His crossing was poor, so much so that in the end he didn't dare cross directly from a pass, instead opting for taking a hold of the ball and then crossing. Another sign of a player low on confidence, I think.
