Yet another god-awful cup exit. No trophies this season but after 17 years I guess we're used to it.

A Spurs B team just beat us 4-0 at home. A Man City bumming to come, things are going to get worse before they get better.

A Spurs 'B' team that cost over £50m to assemble.

Just so pedestrian. Like the bad old days of last season. Ruined somewhat by another shit ref, but we create absolutely nothing.

There are just so many shit players at this club, we'll be firmly in the bottom half this season. Absolutely no-one stepped up to stake a claim. Shows that we've made absolutely no progress.

Knew we were out when we were drawn against them at home. We are total shit at home.

they spent 100mill+ and their B team is better than ours.

surely that's not news.

tonev grew into the game, albrighton put in a great shift. should have had a penalty and were generally unlucky all night. 3-0 was way over the top, they have an outstandingly good squad but 1-2 was probably a fairer reflection at least.

4-0 is a hammering I was hoping we would keep it to 2

But our squad is woeful compared to Spurs so I'm not too despondent

However what is becoming increasingly obvious already is that our summer signings look very poor and haven't improved us at all

We are a Gabby and Benteke injury away from relegation because really they are all we have got

Looking forward to conceding another 4 on Saturday
