I mean, we've all flogged something on ebay, be it a clear out of records, dvd collection or other bigger stuff which is either worth a decent bit of wedge on it's own or as part of a load of stuff. Yes, there are those who make a living from selling online but come on, as @Stevo985 says, it can't be worth the effort if all you recoup is a pittance selling small time stuff. My dad has a full time job, but then just buys hundreds/thousands of CDs/DVDs which he just resells. If my friends constantly had stuff on there and they were clearly making a little side pot of money it would be understandable. I buy little toys (ok I've bought about 5 toys in 3 years for my kid) but I sell shit infant be arsed to take to the tip. I sold a washing machine for £50 A wardrobe for £150 Two side tables for £20 A tall boy £50 And a sky modem for... £5 With that, I just replaced what i sold for less cost, plus I didn't have to get them out my house, people came and took them. Of course.. the wardrobe which I built in my old house, dismantled, then moved and built in my second house and dismantled again for selling was missing 1 dowel.. which the guy gave me a 1 star review for... And I don't think it's isolated to women. I can understand someone being a bit off or a bit short tempered if something has upset them. But people who will full on take their bad mood out on someone totally unrelated to the situation I just don't understand. I don't think, even if I deliberately tried, that I could do that.
