I think SM is a more fluid and aware version of Traore, less of a special teams player. He’s better than Newcastle but I’m not sure I’d rate him for a top 6 squad. Neither, both a tad overrated for me and lower to mid prem level at best, marginally better then what we have so not worth a punt. Any upgrades on our existing lads should be the sort of players the top 4/6 are sniffing around and none of them would be looking at the above mentioned. I'd take him over the above mentioned, Buendia, Eze and Benrahma are better bets too IMO. But I'm hoping we can find even better come christmas time in the summer. edit, I think Bowen was after ridiculous wages and just half a season ago we weren't a club that could consider moves like that.
