The word you're looking for is confidence and he has suffered this season like most of our players but he always gives it everything when he plays and will only benefit from having better players in around him because we know he can pick a pass. I thought he was great first half and not as good second half but he still never stopped running and giving other players options and nearly put Kozak in twice with nice through balls but unfortunately Libor was offside. I thought the midfield was great last night, Gana had a solid game through out and Westwood was great first half and solid second half while Veretout stepped up second half after a quiet first half. Perhaps the addition of a striker who can keep us the ball allowed him to come forward with a bit more confidence. Still needs replacing in my mind, he has a long way to go, but fair play to him. I would bet the use of the word amazing wouldn't be too far away from the calls saying he is way to good for us and will be playing for man utd soon etc. Ironically, sandwiched between such crazy statements are posts from one or two ppl highlighting that he's largely ineffective.
