Woodytom
Would be harsh on Spurs to get 71 points and not make the top

omariqy
Now you are getting me worried. I had Spurs finishing on 71 and 5th aswell. Personally I think its between Newcastle, Norwich and Wigan. Think we will get 1 more point and thhat it will be against Wigan.
romavillan Posted May 7, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 7, 2013 I've even had us going down on 41 points yep me too, and without totally mental results either really
Richard
I've even had us going down on 41 points yep me too, and without totally mental results either really that was the scary thing and why I am mostly focusing on the results of others being more important to us
PieFacE Posted May 7, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 7, 2013 If Sunderland can draw both games. Newcastle beat QPR Norwich beat WBA Wigan beat Swansea and Villa We could go down. Genuine question.... Does that seem a freakish set of results to you? To me that seems rather possible.

Nigel Posted May 7, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) Hate to say it but I still believe it will come down to us and Wigan on the last day The wins we have had over the last week mean it will never be down to just us two now. Richard
I've even had us going down on 41 points That definitely won't happen! Why not? Perfectly plausible We draw with Chelsea and lose to Wigan Wigan beat Swansea and us and lose to Arsenal Newcastle beat QPR and lose to Arsenal Norwich beat Baggies and lose to Man citeh Sunderland beat Southampton lose to Spurs Southampton lose to Sunderland beat Stoke Fulham two draws Puts a load of teams on 41 and depending on margin of victory / defeat we go down on GD All of these freakish? Folski
If Wigan do not win tonight a lot of teams around them will leave out a massive sigh of relief.

It's not the results themselves that are freakish, it's the exact combination that is freakish. If any of those don't happen, then we stay up. You'd get at least 5 figure odds for that whole set. Nigel Posted May 7, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 7, 2013 Of course this is all rendered meaningless if Wigan fail to pick up 3 points tonight. The pressure on them to win is enormous!

BOF Posted May 7, 2013 Moderator Share Posted May 7, 2013 The pressure on them to win is enormous!Yes, however, the pressure on Swansea to stay awake is less so. I feel this tips the balance. Oh and they don't have Michu, or 'Swansea FC' as he is also known.
