villa-revolution
I don't like words such as "definitely" being branded about in this thread. QPR & Reading are definitely relegated! Anything can happen in football! Definitely!
kevangrealish
I'm still struggling to believe how bad stoke were last night. Sunderland had 10 men, number of key players injured(one suspended) and had just got turned over 6-1... I would have put money on mackems going down if they lost last night. Then they were the better side with 10 men and now somehow look like they'll survive :/ But eh, idk why the panic we're staying up and thats that ... Positivity ;D
Mantis
To be honest I think Sunderland should've beaten Stoke last night, even with 10 men. Stoke are a monumentally poor side these days especially away from home. Southampton will be a lot tougher and then they've got Spurs away on the last day. Can see them needing a point or even a win on the last day to overtake us. Edited May 7, 2013 by Mantis
Folski
Stoke are going down next year I reckon it could be a case of Pulis not rotating the team though and players just being burned out, they were woeful last night, granted I thought both teams were trying not to score
KSV
i did the predictor thing a few different times with us losing both games. I still have Norwich and Sunderland going down most times. Its definately going last day though.. good luck to us all !

David-Copenhagen
Yes forgot that one. They need to win that as well. You also forgot Villa - Chelsea. Win or even draw that and things look a lot better.
Richard
I didnt forget that, just the pessimist in me. I actually fancy us to win against Chelsea but the games I have listed above going our way would be nice too!

hogso
A Wigan home draw v Swansea and a loss for them away at Arsenal means we're safe, and we go to the DW without needing to worry. I really, really hope this is the scenario that plays out. Somehow, I suspect things aren't going to be quite that simple.

The way I see it our survival hopes are based on all these fixtures: Wigan v Swansea Norwich v Baggies QPR v Newcaslte Sunderland v Southampton Villa v Chelsea We need all these games to go against us, to go into the last game with maximum pressure. If just one of them goes in our favor, we stand a very good chance of staying up. Edited May 7, 2013 by David-Copenhagen
omariqy
Just did the prem predictor on BBC. I took out the element of GD by only listing wins as 1-0 and draws as 1-1. 14. Aston Villa - 41 pts 15. Norwich - 41 pts 16. Sunderland - 39 pts 17. Wigan - 39pts 18. Newcatle - 39 pts

omariqy
I thought you were going to say that you had Leicester going down. Now that would be a surprise. The good thing is that it is in our own hands. When we have needed to get the points we have. Given how we are playing, i think we have one more point in us. At least its exciting. If we are safe by the time the Wigan comes around the chances are we might be on Sky on the last day. That is if Wigan still have a shout of staying up. PieFacE Posted May 7, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 7, 2013 A Swansea win tonight would really put my nerves at rest. But as previously stated, I really wouldn't put it past Wigan to lose tonight but then go and beat Arsenal.

David-Copenhagen
I've even had us going down on 41 points I don't think that is going to happen. This depends on too many results going against us.
