Not sure why Pep is getting mocked for last night.

City were utterly dominant, even with a man less. Poor finishing let them down.

Which is quite funny. But hardly a stick to beat Pep with. It happens.

I think people just think for the money spent they should be better than they are, particularly at home and that isn't just limited to last night.

So I think it's more than just last night, whenever he doesn't win people will be pointing at him given the staggering spending.

Is that fair, no but it is to be expected.

I personally think he did a poor job last season, pressure is on this one.

Yeah, they battered Everton.

Who themselves have spent £150m this summer.

Playing winger at left back who then cost the goal

When you're the manager of Blank Cheque FC you're going to get mocked when you don't win.  It's as simple as that.  It's what football fans do.  They're not judging him per se.  It's just schadenfreude and without it football is a lot less fun :)

He gets a lot of deeply undeserved stick because his finishing isn't really international standard, but the rest of his play is excellent.

It's his price tag.

If he'd never left Liverpool and was playing as he is he'd be much more highly rated.

English players go for massive price tags and people expect them to be Messi.

The same will happen with Walker.

His best season was when he played with Suarez at Liverpool. He's been a 7 or 8 goals a season man since then. Still just 22 but think he will probably end up another Theo Walcott. Not terribly impressed by Sane to be honest

Ridiculous end to the game! Ref lost total control. Pep won't be moaning about the added time now will he.

Prob needed bit more to show his revolutionary football

I think the ref let too many wreckless tackles go unpunished. By doing that he lost control of the game. The added time on added time was justified. We wasted over a minute with him sorting out the managers. Then was a another substitution
