ROMAN BEZUS (Vorskla Poltava)

Second striker who can also operate from midfield, Bezus's stock has been steadily rising since making the move to Poltava from hometown club Kremin Kremenchuk back in 2009.

Initially limited to cameo appearances, Bezus's knack for cropping up with goals from the bench earnt him a reputation as a super-sub, though with his knack for finding threatening positions in and around the box he is fast becoming a regular fixture in the Zeleno-Bili starting line-up.

Awarded an introduction to the Ukrainian national youth team thanks to his form last season, Bezus quickly progressed from the U-20's to the U-21's (bagging goals against both Belarus and Germany along the way) and will be hoping to make his full international debut in the near future; a cause to which his positive start to the current campaign will have helped no end.

Glentoran fans will have caught a glimpse of Bezus's scoring ability in this season's Europa League qualifiers, with Vorskla Poltava having dumped both them and Sligo Rovers out of the competition. Bezus has also bagged two goals in 175 minutes of Premier Liga game-time thus far and will no doubt be attracting interest from bigger clubs if his impressive strike rate continues.

Sounds quality. Please have been born in 'Gladbach, please have been born in 'Gladbach...

Damn it, he's a Hamburg lad. :puke:

Apparently his agency is the "Anthony Yeboah Sportpromotion". Better double-check those tax returns, Jeffrey.

I saw this lad play against my local team Sligo Rovers last week in the Europa League. He looks nippy and caused problems particularly in the 1st leg.

Maybe this isn't quite the right thread for a player who's already played quite a bit of international and first team football, but 21 year old defender Nicolas Alexis Julio N'Koulou N'Doubena put in a very assured performance on his OM debut this evening.

Excellent positioning let him make a number of important interceptions look very easy, some decent tackles and a patient approach to playing the ball out from the back, I think he's one to watch this season.

Not quite that young but one to watch is 23 year old Garry Bocaly, who currently plays RB for Monpellier..He has played all 6 games so far this season and already has 2 assists..Makes you wonder why we bought Hutton, with players like this on the circuit.

makes you wonder how great Deschamps is if he released him from Marseille :D

Jordan Rhodes. Plays for Huddersfield Town and Scotland under 21s.

Scored 15 in his last 10 games for club and country. 6ft 1, fairly athletic looking, scored 46 in 97 for Huddersfield.

Might be worth keeping an eye on him.
