  1. I havnt judged anybody. I have expressed my opinion on a sexual practice..Which is shared by millions of people (a huge majority) across the world..Like I said in many muslim countries homosexual behaviour is punished with the death penalty..Yet you would allow a person that practices the Muslim religion onto this forum wouldnt you? All have I done is answered a question put to me, of which I avoided earlier in the thread (now you know why)..The only reason I answered it is because I shared Julie's thoughts and she was being unfairly criticized for her views. And being called a bigot.
  2. Everyone gets judged every single day of the week.. If you sit and have a coffee and watch the shoppers go by, you are judging them in one way or another..Whether it be hairstyles, clothes, looks, etc.. Life is full of judgement.. Your judging me on this forum right now.. I was asked a question by Trent and accused of not answering it...So now I have answered in full honesty..I get judged for "coming out"...? Homosexuality is not normal..Thats my opinion/judge. You think im not normal to have that opinion....Thats your opinion/judge.
  3. But God created homosexuals, right ? Yes but we are living in an age where religion has declined, so moral behaviour, common sense has gone out of the window..The human race has/is losing its way. We are lost as a race...Our food products are laced with chemicals, our farm animals are intensively reared in factories, pollution is rife, space is full of scrap metal, our kids dont have much hope for a future, plastic surgery plagues the vanity, homosexuals acting and dressing like women, not one family in either Eastenders or Coronation Street(the 2 most watched soaps) show a normal loving family....The decline of religion has seen a decline in our standards of living and our moral behaviour...
  4. In many Muslim countries, Homosexality behaviour is punished through the death penalty..These countries have the lowest rate of HIV and AID's in the world.
  5. Homosexuality is not normal and I dont see why parents should have to go through the process of explaining un-natural sex acts/behaviour to their children. Or why it should be shown of TV as normal, again forcing parents to explain this to children under 12 etc..Its sick. This comes under the same topic as people that are sexually attracted to animals and children, Its an abnormal sexual attraction. And if in 20 years time you see people kissing their pet dog on TV etc and its also treated as normal to have sex with the dog....You would get more people wanting to try it out..This is the problem with homosexuality, its become a sexual behaviour that people are being brainwashed into thinking its normal practice, so when growing up through puberty it becomes a behaviour to explore. I hope all these people using this forum that calls homosexuality normal, are saying to their kids to make sure they try it out a few times 1st before settling down and getting married..Dont forget to tell your 18 year son going through puberty to get himself down to a gay club to have his backside ruptured by some 40 year old bloke...It will certainly put him in good stead for his future. Bigoted view? No just common sense.
  6. Having stayed out of posting in this thread (mostly for the fact that it's almost impossible to have a reasoned debate) I'm somewhat surprised that this particular quote is the one that makes me break my vow of silence. SnC, if you believe in the bible (which I don't believe is in doubt from the previous 100 pages), I'm amazed at how you can hold this view. As you are a fan of quoting the bible, I thought I'd give you John 14:6: "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." I'd have thought it pretty clear, if you want to get God, you have to believe in his son. I don't see how you could believe in the bible and believe other than this. Its very hard to explain.. One man dosnt believe in Jesus v a man that does.. Something in the life of either person triggered that way of thought/belief. So who's fault is it they gained this thought/belief, the man or the trigger? Adam fell for the trigger right at the very start... For the majority it's what Dawkins rightly decribes as a hereditary virus. I didn't choose to be baptised Catholic. My parents decided for me. When I was old enough to discern I rejected religion. It has been my experience(particularly in Ireland) that many people who count themeselves as belonging to a particular faith but "don't really believe" continue to christen their children, get married in church service, do so as a sense of tradition, or that it's the done thing. As for people who become religious in adult life, there is strong evidence that points to particular personality types being more susceptible/predisposed to accept religion. Im talking ALL through life of mankind, all through life in the bible....From the very start Adam didnt listen to God and its trickled down ever since...Its written down from the very start. We knew this way before Dawkins came about.. Why do think God made the flood in the 1st place? Why do think he made strict with laws and regulations in Leviticus? Why do think he gave us Jesus? All the time its to try and save us..Teach us...Yet all the time we still turned to sin as a whole, as a creation..Like Adam, we are destined to turn against God and lean towards sin...The bible is dead right in what it says..Our hearts are sick, wicked, sinful etc.. Man's behaviour is worst than animals and its the human race that is destroying and having so little respect of the world/universe.

  8. So really, what's the point in following the Bilble now, wouldn't it just be better to have some FUN!!! You'll be saved anyway! Living the way of the bible can give you more than fun..To live a life helping others makes you feel worthwhile. It gives you a great sense of purpose in the world. Missionary work in Africa, or charity work where you help and bring a smile to someone's face, can give you far more to your inner self than any drugs, sex, etc can.
  9. All sins will be forgiven so long as you repent, pray and have faith in Jesus Christ. You also have to try and fight off temptation to sin.. In answer to the question regarding the murderer, yes he will be forgiven and saved. My personal belief, (thought), is that everyone will get saved in the end.
  10. Ive already answered this... WE ALL SIN... *When God made us we were perfect, no sin, disease, illness, hate, bad thoughts etc... Genesis 1:God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. *Sin entered mankind through Adam..Hence "ALL" mankind inherits sin, disease, illness, hate, Jealousy, bad thoughts, etc etc.. Romans 3:All have turned side, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one.” *God knows this..He knows we are without sin....No man can live without sin, its impossible.. Mark 7:21 “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,22 deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness.23 “All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.” Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is more deceitful than all else. And is desperately sick;Who can understand it? *God would lose his creation to Satan, unless he could combat the sin.. Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. *The wage for sin is death..God gave us Jesus, who paid the wage for sin with his death.... Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 Peter 2:and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. *The way to salvation is not totally through works(good behaviour etc) but through faith and grace..Belief in Jesus Christ. Acts 3:“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; Romans 3:20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. John 14:Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
  11. What. The. ****. This is ignorance of the most depressing. Granted, I'm sure there are a few Africans batting for both sides. There is a healthy percentage of MPs doing the same thing..... there are a healthy number of blokes in Africa knobbing goats and probably some lonely Cumbrian farmers too.... The AIDS epidemic in Africa is down to a total lack of contraception. end of discussion. No its not, there a millions of strict Catholics that refuse to use contraception.
  12. mmmmm, Im just wondering why its just Julie and me having to answer what we think about homosexuality and what religion we are tied too.. How about everybody else using this thread to bare their beliefs? True honest thoughts on the bible please? Do you follow a religion and which one? True honest thoughts on homosexuality?
  13. Romans 1 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,
  14. If you dont believe in Christ you wont be saved.. I think you are missing the important point..SIN IS IN THE WORLD..
  15. Trent, Sin, death, disease etc ARE in the world... Free will gives us the knowledge to know that we sin..We ALL sin.. If a person has a sexual attraction over a child and carries out those desires and he/she knows its a sin..It dosnt mean that person will be condemned to Hell. Praying for forgiveness and help to overcome these thoughts/desires along with faith will..
  16. So you had seen the question but opted to not answer it.... that is ignoring it in my book. Regardless of if you see the relevance or not you have deliberately ignored the question several times because you know you can't answer it honestly without exposing your views which you know will (rightly I believe) be widely condemned. Sadly for you though the question is entirely relevant so you can continue to ignore it if you wish but by doing so you are doing two things. 1. You are confirming what many of us suspect are your views or 2. You are trying to hide away from the fact that perhaps the bible does have a flaw. You claimed the bible was without flaw did you not? Then it is entirely relevant to question that claim. Many seem to think the bible is against same sex relationships as they are un-natural and against God. Now... are you saying you agree with this? Are you saying the bible has a flaw here and that you don't agree with it and that in fact the bible is flawed. Or are you saying that the bible doesn't say this and that millions of Christians around the world are wrong and that it doesn't say this at all and that it has been miss interpreted. Which is it? Or are you going to continue to ignore the question for fear of exposing your views or admitting a hole in your previous claim. Come on which is it? Because you can't claim it isn't relevant because I've just shown you exactly why it is. Er no it isn't, it is nothing like the same. If they don't cause any hinderance why don't you state what they are and answer the question? I'm quite happy to do the same in reverse as while I don't agree with the beliefs of those who religious I don't judge them, I don't believe them to be sinners or to be wrong or in any way wicked. I don't think they will be damned for eternity for their sins. Can you say the same? No I doubt very much you can which is why you've tried to dodge this topic. Do you agree with people that find children sexually attractive? Do you agree with people that find animals sexually attractive? The only reason the above 2 are illegal are because animals cannot consent and children are too young..But in both cases there are people that walk the planet that have these thoughts..Are they normal? I mean they cant help who/what they are attracted to can they? If a guy came up to you in the pub and said "I'd love to take that child over there and screw him but I cant because he is only young"..He is an ok guy and perfectly normal in your eyes? You will hold no negative thoughts towards him and see him as just like you, yet with a different sexually attraction? He understands the law and wont break it and will keep his sexual desires locked up.
  17. Basically he hasnt seen enough evidence in science to make him swear by evolution. And has had the balls(as a scientist) to put his neck on the line and come out and say what he thinks.A classic case of a hard line evolutionist, that isnt happy with the method, he see's the flaws..And once again it was another one that got slated for doing so...Its a scientific world of "I must keep quiet and go along with the flow, otherwise my credentials as a scientist will be discredited"...
  18. "The hold of the evolutionary paradigm [theoretical system] is so powerful that an idea which is more like a principle of medieval astrology than a serious twentieth century scientific theory has become a reality for evolutionary biologists." "It was because Darwinian theory broke man's link with God and set him adrift in a cosmos without purpose or end that its impact was so fundamental. No other intellectual revolution in modern times . . so profoundly affected the way men viewed themselves and their place in the universe." Michael Denton, Evolution: A Theory in Crisis (1985). "Evolutionism is a fairy tale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless. Bounoure, Le Monde Et La Vie (October 1963) "Just as pre-Darwinian biology was carried out by people whose faith was in the Creator and His plan, post-Darwinian biology is being carried out by people whose faith is in, almost, the deity of Darwin. They've seen their task as to elaborate his theory and to fill the gaps in it, to fill the trunk and twigs of the tree. But it seems to me that the theoretical framework has very little impact on the actual progress of the work in biological research. In a way some aspects of Darwinism and of neo-Darwinism seem to me to have held back the progress of science." Colin Patterson, The Listener [senior paleontologist at the British Museum of Natural History, London].
  19. Dean H Kenyon. "Then in 1976, a student gave me a book by A.E. Wilder-Smith, The Creation of Life: A Cybernetic Approach to Evolution. Many pages of that book deal with arguments against Biochemical Predestination, and I found myself hard-pressed to come up with a counter-rebuttal. Eventually, several other books and articles by neo-creationists came to my attention. I read some of Henry Morris' books, in particular, The Genesis Flood. I'm not a geologist, and I don't agree with everything in that book, but what stood out was that here was a scientific statement giving a very different view of earth history. Though the book doesn't deal with the subject of the origin of life per se, it had the effect of suggesting that it is possible to have a rational alternative explanation of the past."[6]
  20. You cant use that site though Julie "because they tell lies"... So ive taken the link from a "science" site instead....Maybe a "science" site wont tell lies..
  21. He never said that at all. Seriously, stop copy pasting with no fact checking. The vast majority of the quotes you've posted on here are either: 1) badly misinterpreted 2) misattributed 3) completely made up. In the case of the Wootton Bassett fossils, all that was said was: OUTLINE being the key word. No organic material, merely an outline of where it was. How exactly do you expect to be taken seriously when you don't even verify your sources? You just repost the same refuted sources over and over again with no regard for the accuracy of the claims made. Read the bottom of this page. http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg14819981.700-iridescent-fossils-rise-up-from-volcano.html
  22. Dr Neville Hollingworth, paleontologist with the Natural Environment Research Council in Swindon, talking about the fossils found at Wootton Bassett mud spring. ‘There are the shells of bivalves which still have their original organic ligaments and yet they are millions of years old’
