Knowing I have tomorrow off.  It feels like summer.  I have a sunburn.  I've had a great weekend.  I'm making home-made sangria in a jug with virtually all of it brandy.

Who has more chords; AC/DC or Status Quo? No, I'm not talking about trousers.

Marks and Spencer pyjama section

...someone didn't see the hidden message, scroll over the original post to reveal it.

I feel bad that I've tricked my Pun Obi-Wan.

That KISS were not nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame again  :D

I have such an irrational dislike of Kiss that when I was watching somebody on youtube yesterday I was thinking, ooh he's quite good, then he moved slightly and revealed a Kiss poster on his wall behind him. I instantly decided he was actually a bit shit and I flicked onto the next vid.

I'd say your dislike of KISS seems entirely rational

Kiss & AC/DC are quite possibly the worst things ever to happen to music.

No way, AC/DC are a thousand times more talented than KISS. Granted, a lot of their songs tend to sound alike, but they are legitimate rock and rollers, not some half assed gimmick like KISS.

I still listen to both bands from time to time. I saw Kiss with Aerosmith several years back. Really was a great show. ACDC rock. what they do might sound all the same....but it's a good sound.

Bus journey to work has cheered me up.

Free bus now for my 30 mile (each way) commute.

I assumed it would be some shitty bus/coach with everyone crammed in like sardines.

Nope loads of space, leather reclining seats, tables, air con, lamps.

Spent the journey stretched out reading Cormac McCarthy, whereas usually I'd have spent it on and off the clutch, shouting at other drivers and generally being miserable. Plus it's going to save me £100-£150 a month. Lovely

Reading through Chelsea forums pre and post match threads this morning.  ^_^

Sorry to go on topic, but it's more appropriate here.

What they saying?

Jose M: 'overall I feel it was fair reezult, sorry I make cock of myself'

John T: 'I wasn't there, I was away winning some Scottish cup and a partially sighted curling medal'

Roman A: 'you get 3 points, I get Crimea, fair weekend'
