Paul33
Not sure I'd pay big money for him but Gresford would certainly add to the current Villa side and make us stronger. £30M would be worth a punt !

Jono62
He doesn't play the same way at City as he did with us so if he was to return, I'm sure he could adapt to Emery style.
It's Your Round
The simple answer for me is that if Emery wants him back then I’d welcome him back. If not then I’m not interested. Why are you talking about him returning anyway? Has something happened? 2

Their isn't one player in our current squad that had done what Jack has, achieved what he has, and maybe only 2 or 3 that are near his talent level. Not one manager has claimed he is bad for morale or a poor trainer, in fact they all say the opposite. That player is named Coutinho

Grealish under us had a 'free role' we all know this smith said before he was axed. Emery wont allow that not a chance. He isnt going to do what diaby does so he cant play his role so only option would be playing him on a front left and i dont think grealish was that great there. He doesnt seem a emery type player to me tbh but i could be wrong. Id be shocked if hypothetically speaking citeh put him up for sale in summer if we would be interested (finances aside)
Tommo_b
I mean…. He’s still a quality player, bit silly to say wouldn’t have him back.
Keyblade
Jack in our team right now could probably make us title contenders, don't think I'm exaggerating. We're up there already while playing Zaniolo on the left every week.

This season Diaby will have more G+A than Jack's best PL season. He will do that his first year in with Vila. Diaby will then, baring injury, go on to produce at that level or beyond for multiple seasons. No getting pissed on vacation, or hitting multiple stationary vehicles. Diaby will do all this while being compensated at a fraction of Jack's current wage packet. Jack was great, and we all loved him, but I honestly believe we have moved on and found something much better.

OutByEaster? Posted October 30, 2023 Moderator Share Posted October 30, 2023 Wise choice by City not selection him as one of the players to represent them at the Ballon D'Or - he'd be pissed for a week after a night out in Paris.

Zatman
Didnt get a sniff of the Ballon Dor nominations for a 100 million pound player whose team won the treble is pretty poor Wasnt that one of the reasons he left to be a world star
