Nathan Ake genuinely seems inspired by his "pep talk."

Guy will probably sell a few more tickets for his Edinburgh fringe show from publicity of this so all is good.

He's not actually a football fan at all so no idea who fed him the Jan Molby line.

I was amazed by how short Ake looked for a centre half!

Not sure what the context or what show they were on but Souness and Keane have been having a go at him for taking too many touches and that he isnt a quick learner

It was some sky bet special

They've criticised him for not getting better or learning peps system quick enough

Of course there was absolutely zero said about what made him so good at villa in the first place making him a £100m player and peps decision to play him in a completely different way... They didn't talk about him playing as a 9 for the first time in his career

And you can forget them going in to a tactical analysis of how peps man City play and pinpointing where grealish struggled like how city use full backs differently to villa

There's a really big good very critical analysis to be made of grealish at city, with statistics thrown in to support it, you aren't going to get it from sky

The piece is soundbite central, waste of time

Wonder what will be said if Haaland don't turn it on and score 20+ first season.

You just know though, he will have a poor game and they will still be creaming themselves.

He's foreign so the can't adapt to the incredible PL reason is already lined up

But Haaland not adapting to pep would be even more criminal than Grealish, if they can't get 20 goals out of him then the system should be looked at

Again they won't partly because souness and Keane don't have it in them but mainly because sky have no interest in a full tactical analysis

I found the way he confused Grealish by using the word symmetrical quite amusing.

I can't help admire the snidey way the keeper keeps winding jack up  pushing him over whilst looking like he's helping him.😆

Proper crazy gang tactics!

From what I saw it looked like that kind of game, both teams kicked the shit out of each other on a rough looking pitch half way around the world

But marketing opportunities...

And the Mexicans really hyped the game up, 72k in attendance fireworks choir singing the lot

He always does then acts all innocent. I can understand why players get wound up by him.

There’s another vid of Grealish being fouled and milking it which clearly winds the opposition up more. Nothing we’ve not seen before, but quite telling how he amps it up at City sometimes.

He was quite hated while he was a Villa too for how easily he goes down and rolls around like he has been shot. Obviously as fans we would always defend him.  Remember the one against West Ham? Nobody hardly said anything.
