The RJW63 Official Jack Grealish Appreciation Thread

Latest picture was taken days before he was pictured in the street in Tenerife.

I honestly do not know how this older picture is newsworthy.

Because the first picture circulated has now established a reputation.

It's easy to jump on a reputation and get it pushed into people's heads that <x> is a clearing in the woods (Sterling, Wilshere) - Grealish is now in that camp. Certainly for this summer anyhow.

To be fair he is coming across as a cleaning in the woods. But as long as he does the business for Villa i couldn't care less.

Is a rich man, having a drink on his sun bed, while on holiday with his friends, really newsworthy? Typical "story" from The Scum.

As somebody else has said, the only thing offensive or concerning is his dress sense.

I don't really have an issue with this picture but the double standards applied to players is ridiculous.

Someone accused Weimann of being unprofessional and liking his booze by posting a picture of him drinking a bottle of beer on the team coach on the way back from the last match of a season.

However because it's jack grealish it's fine for him to be pictured drinking as much as he wants and passing out on the floor!!

Fwiw I don't really see the issue with young lads having a few drinks in the off season but do think drinking to the extremes of passing out on a road is unacceptable of a professional athlete.

IIRC Weimann posted it after we had just got a royal whooping at WHL.

Disgusting behaviour by Jack, how dare he be in the vicinity of alcohol. I am shocked, appalled and outraged.

Ugh. Do people really think that's the issue?

There's nothing wrong with that photo generally, though he does look absolutely smashed again.

I've had my say. Knock yourselves out, just like our Jack!

Because the embarrassing show at Wembley looks like it's still burning away at jack.

Lmao at some of the reactions in here

Which ones? Seems all but unanimous opinion from what I've read that it isn't a big deal.

To be honest I don't think a single Villa fan has said it's a "big deal". Only that they expect better from their professionals, and that's about it.

The press have made a big deal of it, so much so that if you, as a Villa fan, are to express an opinion other than "he's 19 years old and rich, he can do what he likes during the summer" then you are laughed at.

Ah well, roll on pre season.

Yeah it may not have been the best timing but I don't think having a beer with your team mates at the end of the season means you drink too much!

The picture was being used to suggest Weimann was unprofessional and drank too much. Nobody had an issue with this criticism so why when the pictures of jack show a greater extent of drinking are people not allowed to criticise in here without sarcastic comments?

It just strikes me that if this was a less liked player in our squad or anybody from any other team the opinions on here would be very different!

As always seems to be the case with this kind of thing, there are easily 10x the amount of people ridiculing the 'outraged masses' than people who actually do give a shit.

Weimann was literally on the coach driving back from the game smiling and posting the picture himself. I wouldn't expect Jack to be sitting around by now still cut up.

Man photographed sitting on chair.  But because he was passed out last week, this becomes a sinister chair.  Boo hiss.  Don't be sitting!

Do you expect the players to cancel their holidays or not enjoy themselves in general because we lost the cup final?

There’s only two things the player and club have done wrong in all of this:

1, Underestimate just how judgemental and warped the majority of the UK population can be

2, Underestimate just how greedy and immoral the British press can be in playing up to that majority attitude

It has nothing to do with anyone what he gets up to away from his public role as a footballer – people will say that it does because he is a role model. Wrong, his private life is his own but somehow modern society has ruled that we somehow own anyone with a celebrity status and they should behave as we see fit.  Jack Grealish can drink, smoke, stay up late, hell he can whack off to pictures of old pensioner porn if that’s what gets him off… as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone or contravene his Aston Villa contract.

Unfortunately though, everywhere he goes he’ll have his privacy ignored, photos taken and scumbag tabloid editors dream up headlines to portray him as a ‘bad lad’.  As wrong as it is that’s his life and it’s one which he has to accept because sadly it’s not going to change.  Therefore he should have known better than to land himself in a situation such as the one where he was sparko on the pavement.  Equally the club should have briefed him on how important this was (which they may have done and if so, Jack only has himself to blame).

He’ll eventually learn to surround himself with people he can trust and party at places where he knows he’ll have (and can pay to have) complete privacy.

The more I see of all these wealthy peoples holidays the happier I am with my little cheap breaks to Torquay.

What is the fun in boozing and sweating sat next to swimming pools ?

I like to think if I had all that dosh I'd find something a bit better to do !

As regards his presumed behaviour, I don't really give a monkeys what he does. He's not my mate, or my son, or my brother.

But if I was his boss I'd be unimpressed to say the least, (regardless of whether it's out of proportion, unlucky, typical, or normal, or anything else).

People don't booze in Torquay?

Jack's holiday is not my type of holiday anymore (too old for it now!) but nothing wrong with it

Well you're suggesting that because of these pictures, Jack isn't affected by the Cup Final. So if he WAS still affected, how would he be acting?

It was a white chair & he'd a can of cola between his legs, he could have spilled it BOF.
