I'd like him to know that 'C' in that acronym now stands for two clubs. It was the "he'll never get that feeling in a City" shirt bit which made me take notice - it is a nice tweet from him though, people doubting that he really cared about the Villa are daft
MakemineVanilla
Watching City's midweek Champions League encounter with Sporting Lisbon, there was an interesting comment by the commentator, who said that during the first leg, even though City were well ahead, Pep was giving a player a right bollocking for persisting to carry the ball. Explains a lot about the way Jack's game has changed, I thought!

That was one of our more satisfying victories against SHA from both a footballing and moral standpoint. If so called Villa fans are now going to switch and side with that scumbag to support their newly acquired opinion of Grealish then they can **** off to the Trillion Trophy and stay there.

Xela
He clearly misses being at Villa. With the benefit of hindsight, i wonder if he had his time again last summer, whether he would make a different decision.

Would've been an incredibly tough decision, despite what some on here say about him.
Ingram85
Are we still persisting with that claim despite the Spurs stuff, the Utd stuff, all a few years ago now.
Keyblade
Yeah don't think it was a tough decision at all. He's been waiting for the right moment and the perfect one came up. Bet he didn't even think twice.

Villatillidie95
Jack was fantastic for us and excellent to watch. However, this situation has worked for both parties as we have ended up with a stronger team with Ings, Coutinho, Buendia etc. Coutinho is getting goals and assists pretty much every game, can't ask for much more than that. Buendia had also been doing good until the change of formation and will no doubt have good games for us in future. I'm happy with what the club did to replace the gap and wish Jack the best of luck at city as he was good for us and we shouldn't stoop to the thuggish levels of that bloke who punched him by being petty.

Yeah, that’s where I am too. I’d even welcome him back later in his career or after his playing days.
Straggler
Here's a thought for you. Next season you can have one of Jack or Phil at the Villa on loan. Which one do you pick?

Putting aside what they bring on the pitch… The one definite benefit of having Phil on loan instead is he could theoretically play every match. With Jack there’s two games from the off he couldn’t feature in. I think Phil would also prove to be a bigger draw in attracting other players. HanoiVillan
Coutinho has more end product as well, at least on the evidence so far. Tough decision, but I'd shade to Coutinho.

Which one do you pick? I loved Jack, and wouldn’t be against him coming back in the future. But it is Coutinho for me. He is better all round player in my book, and has the stats to back that up. He also has the bigger profile, which in turn increases our profile, which will help attract better players, and raise the bar on potential sponsorship deals.
Villatillidie95
Yes for me I would have to pick coutinho, jack is a fantastic player and was great to watch but coutinho has that magic touch in the final third. I never thought jack scored enough for us and although he did get a few assists in the latter stages of his career here with us, that aspect of his game let him down. We are a team that needs to score as many goals from all parts of the pitch when we get the opportunity and i think we did need slightly higher numbers from our midfield player, especially as we never had an 8 type player like Gerrard or Lampard who was capable of getting 10 - 15 a season
