On coffee chat, my lad was playing football right next to a KFC last week so I grabbed a latte before it started. It was amazing. I really didn’t expect it to taste that nice.

@Davkaus put your cup down before you start. We don't want any trouble here.

Anyone good with Excel?

I have a list of values, some will be unique and some will be repeated, but different to the unique values. Can I filter so I get a list of all values but I don't care about the repeated.

E.g

A

B

C

C

C

D

D

Upon filtering I would get a column of ABCD if that makes sense.

Dynamic filtering or manual column filtering? If it's dynamic I'd have a 2nd column doing a count upwards for each cell so the first C would have a count of 1, the second C would have a count of 2 etc, and then my 3rd column would only populate entries from the first column where the 2nd column equals 1.

I would make a new column, eliminating the duplicate values, then filter from there.

Thanks. That sounds about right. I only want a count. Thank you.

You can then have a column that counts each unique entry and you can do a vlookup/xlookup on that if you want a nicely formatted output.

Drive-thru is usually a latte but I think I'm going to kick that habit and go black americano soon, drinking way too much milk

You shouldn't drink that stuff anyway. It's not in sync with evolution.
Cows have only been domesticated for the last eight thousand years. Before that, they were running around mad as lorries. The human digestive system hasn't got used to dairy products yet.

Yeah but the only way it will get used to dairy products is by us putting in the hard hours. Be the change etc etc.

And high levels of haemochromotosis. So our ancestors were drinking from animals and shagging their relatives. Proper wrong 'uns.

Went to a pub quiz last night, that was a fundraiser for a friend's daughter-in-law's specialist cancer treatment. Very enjoyable night, enhanced by the pretty barmaid with a very skimpy top and no bra. Food provided, brought to the table by the pretty barmaid with the very skimpy top and no bra. Plates cleared away by the pretty barmaid with the very skimpy top and no bra.

Did I mention... oh, I did.

No you didn't mention what you had to eat.

IIRC you can get some obscure jaffa cake flavours in polish shops....I am sure I've had raspberry, pineapple and cherry ones - nice, too.

Obscure? Wash your mouth out.

Your flavours are just bland and one-dimensional.

Latte? May as well just drink hot milk.

Before I got my new espresso machine, I was back to drinking instant for a couple of weeks. Vile stuff. Even the nice stuff.

Yep, I've never liked tea.. No idea why, my mom's is the same, but she has instant coffee with milk - I'll drink instant if it's all's that's on offer, but I use Pact filter coffees now at home.

Tea is something I just don't get ...

I went on a tour of a tea plantation when I was in Sri Lanka  , did the tour of the facility  and at the end , they take you to an area  to taste all the teas ( and of course encourage you to buy some)  ... being British and thus VIP's  , we  had the plantation owner come greet us , thank us for coming to his establishment , and asked what we thought of the tea  ... When I told him I didn't drink tea , he kinda stopped in his tracks , look puzzled , then went off ... came back with just about every member of staff , and said "He's an Englishman that doesn't drink tea"   .. followed by much laughter ,merriment  and high fives  ....even a few pictures taken with the workers

I'm sure I can't be the first Englishman they've met that didn't drink tea and its probably a ritual that they do  , but it put a smile on everyone's face and its little things like this that make me love travel and the encounters you have  .. I like to think my picture is hanging up on the wall in one of their toilets
