You rang?

Let's get good at Fortnite, it's the kind of game Stevo will be shit at, @villarule123 will think he's good at, but will hit a ceiling and @StefanAVFC will rage at.

I just like pissing about (YOU DON'T SAY!!! I hear you say) - but it's easy laid back fun, but if you get into it, your heartbeat raises 2%.

I'm shit at all games so that's a given.

Feeling a bit low at the moment. Feel like a big part of my life is missing. The normal routine is boring.

I know the feeling.

Its a bit of a vicious circle at times. We're such creatures of habit that over a week or a month we probably do the same things again and again. WHen you take a step back and think something isn't right sometimes its hard to identify what it is and even if you can identify it what do you do about it?

I would love to be a bit more spontaneous in life but I don't have the outgoing personality to be like that. Its easy to say well just change this or change that but its really not that simple, we're kind of a prisoner to our own limitations at times.

Get a new job, a new hobby or a new girlfriend maybe? Life generally is dull I'm afraid. Most of our waking hours are spent at work so that's generally the biggest cause of emptiness, doing something you don't care about and/or get no fulfillment from.

Identifying a genuine passion that you can do for a job might help, failing that, getting a hobby that you are really passionate about. Something you can look forward to doing after work/on the weekends etc.

Bang on. I've been in a rut for a long time and need to shake myself out of my malaise. Life is a cycle of work, sleep and slobbing around in my free time. I need to get back to the gym, get myself in shape and get back in the dating game. It's just forcing myself to do it which is the hardest part.

What's happened to @Rugeley Villa ? He hasn't been on for over 2 weeks.

I remember I was encouraging him to stop eating meat. I that hasn't done him in! :D

Still off the meat. Hardly miss it at all, and quorn is really nice. Lovely range of sausages, burgers, steaks, etc, although I don't like quorn mince.

the cheapo Morrisons version of veggie mince is the nicest, certainly better than the branded version

we use it 50/50 with actual mince just to reduce the quantity of meat we're eating

Maybe I'll try the cheap stuff next time. Never have been a huge mince fan though.

bang it in a proper ring stinger chilli con or a garlic overdose spag bol

I made my first ever 'from scratch' curry tonight, always used jars or packets of sauce previously. My first effort (and self assessment is a wonderful thing), was miles better than any jar I've ever used. So that's me inventing something new every Monday for a few months!

Homemade curry is great. My wife has not quite mastered it fully, but she makes some nice curries. You can always tell when it's come out of the jars, and is much better from scratch regardless whether you've got it right or not. We've found this great curry house though, that only specialise in takeaways, superb stuff.
