Seat68
Watched Abigail today. The premise really appealed to me. On the whole even though not a classic, fairly enjoyable.

Yeah was OK, almost drifted towards comedy in some scenes but it was solid. Watched French animated movie Mars Express and was a bit disappointed. It was pretty good but I had too high expectations. Worth a watch thou. Arcadian starring Nic Cage was rather bad sadly.

Designer1 Posted May 13 VT Supporter Share Posted May 13 Just back from... Brilliant new movie from Rose Glass (Writer/Director of the superb Saint Maud). Cracking performance from Kristen Stewart (all the cast were great tbh) in what is essentially a stylish, hyper violent, often darkly surreal, pulpy love story. Brutally entertaining and emotionally charged and a shoe in for a spot in my Movies of the Year list. Recommended.
