Newcastle certainly aren't going away as easily as Man. United this season.

They are still a huge threat for top 4.

If we’re going to finish top 4 we have to earn it, not just hope there are 16 misfiring teams.

It’s in our hands and we can potentially go third with a win tomorrow.

This Newcastle team really isn’t that impressive. If teams don’t get sucked into trying to battle them and come at with pace and exploit the full backs they are beatable. Wolves showed more invention than Arsenal.

Your bitterness is completely blanking out how good they are.

Just want the projected points totals a bit lower. Some seasons you can finish 4th on about 65-66 points.

This one certainly looks like you'll need 70 + to be 100%

Mixed feelings about this result. We can leapfrog Arsenal tomorrow with a win, but now Newcastle are right back in the mix and feeling confident.

On a side note, I think the top 8 right now will be the top 8 at the end of the season, but in what sequence?

They are a high intensity team with some quality wingers that are very effective - but on today’s performance really not at it. It was a game mired by the worst impulses of both teams in a scrappy affair. Nothing to do with bitterness.

You didn’t say anything about today. You said “this Newcastle team isn’t that impressive”. It’s bollocks - they are. And they’ll absolutely battle in games such as this.

Whats impressive is that they keep performing so much better than they are on paper, the team and especially the squad is not that good

Even as momentum and feel good it should have slowed down by now and it's seemingly not

Failing that... finish top 5 thanks to other teams doing well in europe 😜

Boca Juniors versus Fluminese in the Copa Libertadores final starting in 10 minutes on BBC3 and iPlayer.

Cavani, Romero, Marcelo all playing.

Felipe Melo always brings a bit of action as well to a game 😂 The Fluminense keeper is 43

Andre is supposed be the hottest prospect on the pitch, he turned down Liverpool in the summer
