Suprised they didn't just use the push by Joelinton as an excuse to disallow the goal and forget about any 'was the ball in/out', which they clearly didnt know. Wouldn't exactly have been controversial to rule it out for that.

But then its Newcastle benefitting...

It’s the most baffling part - 100% foul but they choose to otherlook it

And even if you think a blatant shove isn't a foul, it's clearly affecting the defender, therefore he's interfering with play and it's offside.

There will be an apology incoming. VAR is **** shit.

Watching it back it seemed a bit of a soft foul. Gabriel does a salmon dive to try and make the most of it but it didn’t actually seem that bad.

They really miss Odegaard.

Agreed, he is the player that will actually take a shot at the goal rather than try to walk it into the net all the time. Don’t think I’ve seen any of their players take a shot at goal really

Joelinton and Bruno G are the joint second biggest weapons in the league just behind Mee I think. Followed by Bruno F

Two biggest rocket polishers in the league. Bruno should have been sent off at least twice today, not even booked. Deliberately elbowing someone then grabbing Rice by the throat
