Unlucky not to score, even less lucky to pick up yet another injury

Why was he unlucky not to score, a professional footballer should be comfortably putting that away.

You see Bailey (and others) playing though the pain barrier and then this guy going off at any given opportunity.

Levels.

Do you know the extent of both their injury issues then? Must do to be commenting with such a strong opinion.

Levels? Cringe.

That’s honestly impossible and silly to judge. You have no idea how individuals bodies react to trauma and impact injuries

Yes weak finish. He's made the odd impact in games and has been unlucky with injuries but he's not someone we should sign on a permanent basis imo

What the buy price? If it's about £15 mil I'd get him tbh

If he was constantly fit then yes as he has shown some quality; the injuries have not helped him find consistently; much like Bailey previously under Gerrard.

I don't think Villa sign him now with these constant injury problems.

They'll have to assess whether they think he will ever get a run of games. Had he not got whacked in the back after the good game against Arsenal things might have been different but then he was out with a different injury so who knows. If we think we can get him fit enough with a pre-season then I'd gamble because if it comes off it's a fraction of what he'll be worth.

Not all players are like Bert Trautmann.
But seriously, there are different level of injuries some minor injuries would allow a player to continue to play without risking further complications. Other injuries means a player has to heal the injury before playing again.
What is your view on Mings? Is he unprofessional and not committed to Villa since he have taken the year off?
