I can see why Emery wants him - his ability at playing the ball forward out of defence will fit beautifully with the way Emery has developed our style of play and I am now quite excited to have him in the squad. OK, so the article is a bit sneery about Villa but my response to this would be “leave it, he’s not worth it”. I liked the bit about how we have nothing more to offer than a two leg match to see if we progress in Europe’s third-tier competition. Maybe UE has embraced the positives, and ignored the negatives....maybe other clubs were concerned about the negatives, and dismissed the positives......it happens.
