It’s what most journalists crave to have, the contacts through their sector providing accurate information that is reasonably trust worthy. The other form that I believe you are referring to is investigative journalism which is less applicable to football transfers compared to something like crime, politics or war for a few examples. Football transfers which is who you know and Romano has that. Is it early enough in the process that fans want? No but clubs wouldn’t want early info getting leaked.
