Popular Post Rds1983 Posted May 14 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted May 14 Over the f***ing blue moon and bouncing for joy. Thinking back to all the shit we've suffered over the last few decades, the near misses, the dodgy ref decisions in cup finals, the MON year's where we felt we were on the cusp of something only for it to all to massively blow up in our faces, on to the slow, dreadful pull to relegation, on to Championship hell, Bruceball and near liquidation, playoff final loss to Fulham, onto some relief with playoff wins but quickly followed by the torture of nearly being relegated again, to escaping that only to be then stuck with f***ing Gerrard and to feel it's all about to explode yet again... To barely a year later and we get Europe for the first time in over a decade... To today... and finally, get where we want, no deserve to be. To actually have genuine hope and faith that this is the start of something special. I hope every Villa fan the World over is celebrating tonight and it carries on all week. This is the start, we will continue to grow and we will get trophies. It's on. I f***ing love this club. 10
CarryOnVilla
If I’m correct, Villa will be the 11th English team to play in the Champions League format of the European Cup. can you name the other 10 (or more if I’m wrong)

Daweii
We're not just in the Champions League, but we'll be one of 36 teams taking part in the all new Champions League. The new format may be looked on fondly over the coming years, or looked at with disdain, but we'll have been there at its very beginning which is pretty damn cool.

QldVilla Posted May 14 VT Supporter Share Posted May 14 It’s been great watching the narratives from the media over the season as to why Villa can’t finish in the top 4. The endless Manure and Spurs media support to get those teams across the line. The reality is we were always going to finish in the top 4, this club is finally back we’re it belongs and I can’t wait for next season.
