Damn it, PSV. They've looked dangerous this second half too.

Nevermind, Dortmund went 2-0 up but ruled out for offside. 15 minutes to get something here.

Italy just had 2 teams knocked out. Why they still so far ahead?

They have built a pretty good cushion already. Milan and Roma will more than likely go through. Atlanta and Fiorentina are favourites also.

It seems odd you can pick up more points for extra games based on the fact you couldn’t win your group. Typical UEFA.

Hopefully 3 English teams go through tomorrow.

Hope so, even a Brighton win without going through would help as well.

Italy have no presence in the Champions League and Spain seem to need an all Spanish Champions League final.

If we finish 5th, when only the Top 4 are getting into the Champions League, this season will still feel like a complete success.

If we finish 6th, when the Top 5 are getting Champions League, this season will still be a success but it will be a bit of a gut punch considering how close we came to getting it.

Sounds strange I know.

I think both would be the same.  They'd both be a success based on preseason expectations (and even more so given the injuries we've faced), but would both be a punch in the gut.

We've maintained champions league form for 50 games now. To not get it would be gutting, however it comes about.

Jadon Sancho scored an important goal to put Dortmund ahead, meaning his strike could help deny Manchester United a spot at the Champions League table next season, should United finish in fifth spot come the end of the season.

The traditional british bias media don't believe in Villa, they are desperate for all their favs in the Champions League.

It's because Sancho is on loan from United.

But OMG everybody in the meeeedia HATES Villa.

I was just about to post something similar.

The ironic thing is a lot of fans don’t believe in Villa. Why should the media ?
