The French league is now the 6th ranked league in Europe having fallen behind the Dutch league. Anyone going there doesn't have the right mentality or ambition as a footballer IMO.

A mid-table Premier League side would challenge for the French title.  Sure, they'd probably lose to PSG both legs, but they would run the rest of the table like it's the Championship.  PSG are on autopilot most games and don't always turn up to play hard.

Pretty much ever player in the world would choose PSG over Villa. What the PL have is money, and PSG have more money than any PL club apart from Man C.

No need to insult the French league, they are the best in the world at producing talents. Just a lack of money (apart from PSG) that is forcing them to sell.

Who is if not France?

Are you all kidding?

Brazil produce the most professional footballers in the world.

To quote sne, "it's not even close".

Because it really isn't.

I don't know about that. They produce raw talent. That talent goes to Europe, gets coached into top players (often via France) and they end up in top clubs.

How many Brazilian league youngsters go to PL starting lineups?

Most does not equal best.

So reading all the online stuff, all we know is that Mendes spoke to us about a contract and now Mendes is talking to other clubs including PSG about a contract.

So he’s just finding out what everybody is offering and that’s currently PSG.  Doesn’t seem any evidence of him going which direction.

Yeah while PSG will always be heavy favorites in this type of situation, even more so now that Messi and Neymar(most likely) are leaving, this race isn’t over yet.
