That’s why I think we’ll see another high profile attacking signing. FWIW, I’m indifferent on Barnes. Decent output but not sure he’s the man to help us push on. The issue with that is that there is some sort of cap on the number of players you can loan out I think. a top half premier league club isn’t going to blood anything but exceptional players. I’d also prefer finding great deals like we have done for Tielemans and Torres, and I’m hoping Monchi will be able to do that in the striker department by finding a talent at a reasonable price. To get someone better than Watkins would cost 60 million and still be a huge gamble. A mid level player wouldn't join to sit on the bench. They may as well go to lower table team and play every week.
