What does an Emery player look like?

Technically excellent (so not Phillips). Walker does currently walk into our team, yes. I just think we'll have a longer term, younger and more cultured solution in mind.

If he comes in with another though, I'm all for it. Young is reaching the end and Cash isn't of the standard we need in my opinion.

Big fan of Mings and how good he’s been since Emerys come in, but Torres would be an upgrade and I wouldn’t be against it.

I presume you've watched Mings all season and obviously realise how good he's been. How often have you seen Torres play? Why do you think he would be an upgrade?

Surprisingly we haven’t been linked to a RB to much.  Its by far the weakest part of the team.  Good has young as been he doesn’t last a full match either.
Id bet that that position will be one of first filled.  Also don’t get why we’re been linked to lb’s, unless Dinge has already gone or going

Because the press don’t know simple as. I imagine a right back to compete with Cash and a better quality goalkeeper behind Emi will be big priorities too.

What about Dominik Szoboszlai?

Only seen him on YouTube but his free kicks look awesome.

Free kick porn

Definitely got a shot on him.  It's been a while since we had someone who could consistently take a good free kick.

People seem to think physical traits are the number one priority?

Obviously not but it is a weakness and adds to our ability to hurt teams and defend if we have more height

Digne can take a good free kick, it's the rest of his game which is a slight issue.

We're just going to get linked to everyone aren't we

Would be a crazy signing. He had a pretty bad injury a few years back, but I think he’s recovered and has been decent since. He’ll definitely be on the move this summer (not sure if it’s to us though) because Real Madrid are so invested in Vini Jr and Rodrygo.

Asensio would be a genuine meltdown signing...  Never turned out to be that world beater player he had the potential to become when he was younger, but he's been a very good rotational/squad player for Madrid these past few seasons and is in his prime.  8 million euros/week is 134k pounds/week, which is slightly more than what Ings was on for us.

...but it's Marca, which makes up more BS than the Sun does.

No chance Asensio comes here IMO, and I always have misgivings about signing players unwanted by CL teams. Feels very much like an Everton move that doesn't work out, he sits around on big money for 3-4 years and then goes to play in the Saudi league or China for £500k a week on a free.
