I like your 2nd team with Bailey. I think Coutinho needs some time out and to be slowly reintegrated when we are more stable. (Basically I think he's shot.) Buendia...............Watkins........Coutinho I agree with this. it wouldn't be my ideal lineup for our side, but it's putting square pegs into the roles we have been playing out of under Gerrard. I don't think we have the strength or composture in midfield to play a front line of 3..... but changing the formation on such short turnaround would be asking for trouble. Depending on the training pitch i would consider sanson over ramsey and chambers over nakamba. But without seeing the training pitch i would lean toward your suggestion. I think he's been dire for a long time unless we've been playing Stevie G's "take the pretty stuff out of it." That indicates he's somewhere near match fit if not match sharp. I get what you mean though - he's hardly played in 2 seasons. It will be great to see us finally beat this lot, Dean Smith's Brentford in the championship played us off the park. When was the last time we beat them at VP?
