Irreverentad's Fantasy Premier League 2022/23
If you told me in advance Spurs would score 4 and Haaland would get 11 more points than Kane, I never would have believed it...based on that I'm OK with my decision, just leaves me without a FT for GK/DEF -

For some reason they're all over my Facebook trying to turn the court of public opinion of Braithwaite and how he's got a club in Saudi Arabia lined up who will pay him more than barca but he still wants to get sacked on purpose to get his money 4 or 5 barca message boards are somehow popping up on my feed with that kind of shit, how he's doing the club dirty They can **** right off -

The next manager of Aston Villa
I said similar last season. I think Targett was a popular player in the changing room and his treatment from Gerrard I think annoyed a few and now its the same with Mings/Sanson/Buendia No surprise the poor form happened soon after- 1

The next manager of Aston Villa
Yeah, I think that kind of old school manager mentality should be left in the past. Yes, everyone can and should be and show anger, but people need to be treated like people, even football pros. -

Transgenderism
This is similar to what I posted a day or two ago, in many regards, and I'm sure others have said similar longer ago than that. The caveat I'd add is that for the likes of us straight men, who have never experienced what these souls have on either side, for me at least it's less about taking sides and more about trying to understand that kind of thing (you described), but also the perspective of those like JKR, SD and so on. Because they don't (until I see evidence otherwise) appear to have any hate or antipathy behind what they're saying. For me victims are (any) people subjected to abuse or discrimination or etc. not simply people holding a particular set of views. I know there's more to it than this simplification, but SD was deprived of medals by testosterone doped East German swimmers. JKR was domestically abused by a man and their experiences of life are bound to form part of their thinking. JKR seems to be concerned about the potential (and reality) of predatory males using Trans identification to attack women and SD appears to (at least to start with) have been objecting to swimming rules which were loosened in 2016 to allow a much wider field of competitors into women's swimming (it's since reversed that and she said that they were right to do so). Both those women have been subjected to campaigns of abuse for holding their views, as well as a lot of very patient and reasoned discussion and counter argument. It's the abuse part that I find troubling. The trans situation is clearly very, very heated and the people most harmed, perhaps are the ones who already get a rough deal - mainly young folk like you describe - caught in the crossfire between two sides who's struggle to maintain any level of reasoned exchange of views between their more ardent adherents. -

The next manager of Aston Villa
I'm more worried that he might have a abrasive attitude that is rubbing some of the players the wrong way. That's OK when things are going well and the choices are justified. When it's not... All speculation of course.- 2
