I don't know much about the manager but he appears to have steadied the ship that was sinking rapidly and they have lost their 2 best players and invested heavily in lots of new players and I think they are going to be okay. Relegation is going to be tight this year but the 3 promoted teams will be involved. Will be a good comparison for Gerrard this season as our manager seems to be struggling to do the same and they’ve had a fairly similar amount of time in this league. At the risk of jumping the gun…maybe Lage? Their final 12 matches of last season - 2 wins 2 draws 8 defeats (No prizes for guessing who one of those wins was against). So far this season, 1 point from Leeds and Fulham. Their next 8 league games - Spurs (a) Newcastle (h) Bournemouth (a) Southampton (h) Liverpool (a) Man City (h) West Ham (a) Chelsea (h) I’m looking at Bournemouth and Southampton as the games where I’d put them as slight favourites, but blimey that would be 22 matches and not many points in my estimation.
