Bouba could have said no, im sure it would have been understood. The other option was Deschamps calling up someone in his place and giving them that opportunity. Dominated the middle of the pitch, always on the ball, never gave the ball away was Jonny on the spot constantly and didn't even break sweat. It shuns the “Unai doesn’t play with an attacking rb” we can adapt at any time to any opponent like we did Sunday by overloading the right side by bringing Bailey on. With Cash playing the way he has been, it makes more sense for him to push forward and have Kamara slot back, particularly if the opponent is vulnerable on our right. We can get overloads so often but its so rare that the opponent does it to us . I think that people thought that Pragmatic meant defensive football. And the Europa final v Man Utd and the CL semi against Liverpool was how he played all of the time.
