Just totally ignoring the fact that the place where he has "fallen out of favor" is perhaps the poorest organised football hierarchy and overall club across Europe's top 5 leagues. A club in Billions of pounds worth of debt, run by idiots with no football identity, a recent history of messing world class players around, playing them in stupid positions and have changed manager 4 times in 2 years. The one well organised big club he was at in the last 3 years he played 36 times scored 11 times and got 14 assists and a shitty little trophy called the Champions League. Concerned? WHY Posted January 5, 2022 Share Posted January 5, 2022 Would be a massive upgrade on what we have but won’t lose any sleep if we don’t sign him. Unless there is a possibility of signing him on a permanent I don’t really see the point. We aren’t going down and we certainly aren’t getting Europe. He is a class players and it shows our ambition, both of which should help attract other players of quality. Ive thought we’ve needed an AM with time who can pull the strings in attack, but will his work rate in pressing be sufficient? Agree a loan is harmless to find out.
