Buendia has been better, not great but he's having a real influence on the game on the right. Ramsey has been decent too. Ings has worked so much harder and the goal is just top drawer. VillaChris Posted August 21, 2021 Share Posted August 21, 2021 Thought we looked better for last 15 minutes, were at least moving the ball around quicker and getting into decent wide positions to cross. Didn't quite expect the first goal to arrive in that manner! Ultimately we're missing 3/4 starters and are the definition of a team who's had a disrupted pre season so I'd take 3 points anyway possible just to settle everyone down which we really need after last few weeks. Ramsey been good today, drove forward well with the ball at times. Think we'll see Nakamba and Hourihane on second half with Doug on a yellow. Sulberto21 Posted August 21, 2021 Share Posted August 21, 2021 We've been the better team. Ashley Young is an absolute prick and I love it motm for me atm. He has been brilliant. Ramsey has played well and his movement off the ball has been good. McGinn has also played really well as has Dougie. The rest have been solid if unspectacular. Buendia looks like he's getting used to us now and he's created a couple of chances. The referee is going to get a smack.
