Football isn't just plain sailing and he will learn valuable lessons in playing in team that aren't pulling up trees all the time.  Looks a bit casual to me at times (off the ball) but he has undoubted ability.

QPR are 3rd.

He's fine. People can't be quality every game.

He's absolutely rapid over the first 5 yards. That's the difference between being a middling player and a top player at times.

For all KDB's attributes he's absolutely rapid over then 5 yards. Tim's got that. He can just knock it and make space

Exactly. He is like a coiled spring at times. Can just accelerate to top speed instantly. A proper athlete. We never saw the driving runs before but i would say he is equally as effective as Jacob in breaking the lines when he is tasked to

Is he a 6 or an 8? He seems to be able to drive with the ball. Reminds me of the way Pogba plays.

Who knows at this point. if he plays in nets vs Baggies he'll have covered the full eleven this season for QPR.

Gerrard said he was a Dm hut Gerrard was wrong about absolutely everything. Beale is playing him absolutely everywhere. Said something along the lines of players need to play different positions to get a greater understanding of the game . I think he could play the Kante role easily due to his athleticism.

i think the answer is either.

From what i have seen though, i think his talents are wasted as a pure 6, maybe a Kamara/Timmy double pivot.

It's actually the opposite.

Given where some of our players popped up on Sunday I would disagree.  Emery seems to like players being comfortable moving between "defined positions" depending on specific match situations - particularly in midfield (one of the analysis pieces I saw before the game talked about how Emery plays people in seemingly "odd" positions because the "system" is so fluid depending on the passage of play).  It looks like players who are as comfortable tracking back, as they are tackling, as they are on the ball, as they are driving past the striker will do really well in the UE "system".  So from that point of view if Tim is improving in all areas then it probably bodes well for us - all round midfielders look like being more important for us than specialists.

He cropped up in the No.10 positon early on but for most of the game he's been playing deeper than he has been for QPR, but still playing very well, has made some cracking cross field passes and gone on some good driving runs, makes it look effortless the way he glides past players. QPR struggling in the final third though, seem to lack composure, they probably would be better served if they did push Iroegbunam further forward as he has been playing for them.
