Tim Iroegbunam

The issue here is Tim first played for us over two years ago.

He's since played 40 games in the championship.

It doesn't really make sense to me to then warm the bench for two years as you're just wasting your career and he isn't 18 anymore.

He's hardly played in a period with Donk gone, Kamara out and all of McGinn, Luiz and Tielemans missing out at separate points for 2-3 games so there's been plenty of opportunities but he's been constantly overlooked. We won't be starting next season this understocked in central midfield as that would be complete madness so will have even less chance of breaking through.

Don't want him to turn into one of these players we're still taking about with potential at 22-23 and he's a year off that so needs to be playing next season. Somewhere.

Expect him to leave in a similar deal to Aaron Ramsey and Archer… seen less of him than expected too…

nowhere near ready and especially at the level we will be playing at…

Yeah but nowhere near the fees we got for them. If we can get 4/5m, then we've done well.

Expect he’ll leave this summer. After Dendoncker went out on loan, Unai said it would be an opportunity  for Tim. Even with the injuries and extra games, he’s not been fancied.

I think he'll go on loan again this summer rather than sold. His value isn't as high as say when he was playing very well for QPR. A strong year in the Championship and we could get a lot more for him.

All in all, Emery has given him a few opportunities but he's proven that he's still too much like a youth player at this level than a full first teamer. Hence Chambers today - more physicality, more energy, more likely to put up a fight than be rolled over by Wharton etc.

He's not good enough. Needs to be sold.

I don’t think we’d get that much for him.  Send him on loan to a Championship team for a season, hopefully he does well, and then we sell for a decent fee next summer.
