He's legit been excellent this season, his stats are **** mind bending good. Emery is happy binning off Diaby (who has been excellent) because Leon has just been better. However he did also admit he struggled with injuries in his time since joining... Unai Emery has improved so many players who were struggling for direction, tactical awareness etc under Smith and then that fool Gerrard only made them worse.
