He will never be as aesthetically pleasing as Grealish. He will never have enough pace to drive through a midfield, but he can pick a pass and play some lovely one twos. He will lose the ball far more than Grealish ever did but he will win it back far more than Grealish ever did as well. To me every attacking player takes a whole season and the following off season of training with their team before you can truly see whether they'll fit properly. osmark86 Posted December 2, 2021 Share Posted December 2, 2021 thought he had a great game yesterday and his stats back it up imo. he has obviously had ups and downs, but we look better in shape now which will only benefit Buendia. whereas he previously would have few options for passes and get closed down by multiple opposition players he now has better options and we're seeing more of what he is capable of. Buendia is a playmaker. It is a difficult game to judge him on but he does goes missing in quite a lot of games so far in his Villa career.
