Sorry if this has already been posted, but HS2 has revealed designs for a bridge to be named after Jude Bellingham! Apparently it is to be built behind West Midlands Fire Service headquarters and it  is set to form part of the three Curzon Street viaducts that will bring HS2 trains into the city. I had to check this had not been made public on April Fools Day, but they cannot be serious can they? Are we that short of sportsmen that his name cropped up? First they retire his shirt and now HS2 add to their popularity by suggesting this? This is embarrassing, not a Villa player, an Albion player or even someone like Trevor Francis, but a bloke that played a handful of games in Small Heath, before leaving town in a hurry.

It is absolutely ridiculous to name infrastructure after 19 year old footballer, but at least it's a railway bridge rather than a road bridge, almost nobody will have any clue what it's called

If anything they should have named a sewer in his honour.

Betting odds for this game were a little bit dubious...checked the score around 40 minutes in and draw was already priced at odds on which is something you rarely see even for two evenly matched sides.

Could be explained by both teams already realistically having absolutely nothing to play for.

The lower placed team, relieved to be virtually safe from relegation, happy not to lose at home - against the low mid-table team, with no chance of a playoff place, happy to get an away point.

Being bought out by the sounds of it, club statement out. Probably by the better of the 3 options that have been discussed.

(Often Partisan Ltd, headlined by a former Microsoft VP. As opposed to the comedy options of Laurence Bassini or the Maxco (Maxi Lopez and Paul Richardson) from earlier in the year)

Blues are currently being investigated for atleast 2 breaches of regulation. As I understand it anyway..

1. Mr Kings mystery involvement in the club. It sounds as though his shares are being dissolved as part of this announcement. So I assume the bigger (more serious) investigation into his ownership will probably be halted, and the serious points deductions they'd have faced, likely escaped.

2. Maxco putting ~£7m into the club in the summer when they hadn't passed any of the proper checks with the EFL. Maxco were sanctioned already, but Blues were just under investigation - maybe they'll still get a smaller punishment for this, but probably nothing serious.

It was the bigger one that had potential to really derail them and their future seasons. Be interesting to see if it is dropped with the takeover.

Probably quite good news all round for Blues
