According to Transfer Market, the last to do it in the league at least was Agbonlahor in 08-09. 11 goals and 10 assists.

Young and Milner both got within a couple of doing it but never managed it.

Odd, fbref has Agbonlahor at only 11 goals/5 assists for that season.

For all of his plus points there’s no denying he’s patchy as ****.

The good thing about that though is that means he has just begun a purple patch.

Most assists in the league with 10, 5th best in terms of goals. Only one behind Salah in terms of total goal contributions (goals plus assists).

These are absolutely elite numbers. And we want to find someone to compete with him - better spend 100 mill...

21 goal contributions in the league and not including the penalties he won and probably wasnt credited with an assist for the first goal as it hit the post

The guy is actually elite, only Salah has more goal contributions in the league this season

It's insane that we were basically typing the same post in the same few minutes ha...

I was a bit critical of him recently as he looked well off it but today he was outstanding and what we want to see from Ollie every game. Hopefully he's about to go on another goalscoring run. 20+ league goals surely realistic for him this season. 11 goals and 10 assists in 23 games shows how crucial he is for us.

I still stand by comments made before. When he's bad he's really bad and he'd had a couple of games like that recently. But when he's good he's really, really good. Today was one of those games and he was absolutely fantastic.

He's a striker, he relies on service like any other. When the team has been playing well behind him he's been absolutely phenomenal this season. Constantly causing trouble on or off the ball, and linking up so well with his teammates.

There was a moment in the first half where he had a heavy touch having dropped deep and nearly gifted the ball to United to start an attack.

Those moments will happen with Ollie, but what Emery has done with him is teach him how to forget about them.

When he's quiet it's usually because we're not giving him any service. But on a day like today, when he gets service, and players running on to support him,  he gets goals and assists.

He's a wonderful player that brings so much to our team. Just needs the team to get him the ball in the right locations.
