Summer Transfers Window 2020

Shaqiri is probably the sort of cast off from big club who could improve us in short term. Saying that he'd be on big wages and would need to be the sort you have to build a team around, wasn't much use for Stoke in their relegation battle.

He is probably the type Newcastle will be signing in the short term. Big name cast offs from big clubs.

Would be typical Villa to be relegated just as the bottom falls out of the transfer market meaning we get only a fraction of the money for the players we are forced to sell.

True. But, would parachute payments remain the same regardless? If they do, then we should be able to buy players on the cheap as well.

Yeah, likely to be clubs in a much worse situation than us should it happen.

No thanks Chris.

Look to the future....  I'd rather see us go for likes of Ebere Eze (Q.P.R.) over over-rated players with bad attitudes like Shaqiri.

Players on the way up not on the way down with far better attitudes too!

One of the premier league sides near the relegation places has already made an offer to Peterborough United to sign Toney for a realtive big sum of money, if they eventually go down.

Not sure if Norwich would spend the money that it would require to secure his signature, think Peterborough want £10m plus for him.

I've never seen him play, but have seen him getting praise recently so must be doing something right.

i been touting him since played for Charlton on here few months before went to Huddersfield. For £2mil was really no brainier buddy.

I watched Charlton game live he ran the show! around October 2018 then suggested him on here.

We're being linked with re-signing Pierluigi Gollini, AC Milan and Tottenham also linked.

Who by? Can't see it myself, we have Heaton, Steer and Nyland, I also would doubt that he would want to come back to us.

He's better than Steer and Nyland, and Heaton it seems is somewhat injury prone, so wouldn't be the greatest surprise if we were to target yet another goalkeeper whenever the transfer window opens, especially if we somehow manage to stay up.

He is being linked with a fee of 18 million euros, we sold him for 3.5 million euros.

No chance he is coming back for that loss and the fact he doesnt like English goalkeeping coaches

Would guess at Crystal Palace.

Would chuckle if it's Newcastle, they signed him from Northampton at 18 and basically kept on loaning him out for his four years there.
