They look good. But then I’ve seen them look awful too. Today was important for their season. We just need to show up on Tuesday. Hopefully they are a little tired after such a good defensive performance. All to play for still. It’s football, anything can happen.

Sadly it isn't true for us.

Only team to not get a win against the top teams.

Yes we can have hope but deep down i know we won't get anything because of Smith's tactical limitations.

Southampton are ultra motivated for Bournemouth tomorrow, I'm not sure what exactly, but looking on a Southampton forum it seems something went down after the game at St Mary's which has riled the Southampton players and they want revenge, Hasenhüttl hinted at it at his press conference today as well.

Have to remember that Bournemouth only beat Leicester because Leicester had a man sent off, realistically Leicester should have been three or four nil up by half time.

Well let’s remember that despite never ending up winning, we have taken the lead against most the top teams this season. In fact every one of the big 6 bar Man City. If we can do that on Tuesday night and just for once, for the love of God, manage to see out the latter stages with some proper in-game management, be it braking up the game with staggered substitutions, shithousing with tactical fouls, whatever. We’ve had enough instances this season now to bloody learn. Im grateful we still got one more shot at this tbf, we’re lucky to still be in it with 2 to go.

The porn dwarfs and Brady will be offering bonuses to anyone who scores against us.

I dunno why we're so hated. We're like the elder statesman of English football. Won everything. Founded bastard league. Then you got ppl on the BBC comment page saying 'Well done West ham proper team relegate villa from wolves fan' with like 150 up votes lol

People don’t care about sending us down. Most teams unless rivals or local couldn’t care less, there’s 19 other teams to worry about also, that’s our problem we think we’re a big club and other clubs care about us, that’s us fans, players and everyone associated with us, that’s our mental block. And anyway most clubs can bank on us for an easy 6 points most seasons why would you want to lose that....

Yeah, f*ck optimism.

Let's just pray for relegation instead!

Problem is its like being in the desert and hoping for rain, but there is not a cloud in the sky.

Hope is wonderful, accompanied by a tad of realism.

Hard to know. They've never looked upon it as their derby as such and it isn't. Not at all as spiteful a fixture as when they play pompey.

I think there was a feeling that Bournemouth were over zelous in their celebrations after the match, they won 3-1 and after there was a lot of talk from their fans on social media how the return fixture could be Bournemouth's chance to seal Southampton's fate and send them down, but of course the tables have turned since then.

This is an Hasenutti quote hinting at it...

"Every player has his own story for why we want to win against this club,”

Of course that doesn't mean that Southampton are going to win, but I don't think they will be taking it easy.

Hate to say it but Arsenal look really good at the moment.

Getting very nervous.

How can you be nervous at the same time as having written off Villa and suggest relegation was certain? It's almost as though you contradict yourself.
