I’ve often wondered this Brian, probably not suited to this thread but what can I do…

If you could “save” one of nestle’s chocolate bars and have them be produced by a more socially conscious company so you could then eat it…which bar would you pick?

And I’m not exaggerating, if I’m in the co op and I’m looking at chocolate bars, I find myself thinking “Hmmm, BOF wouldn’t approve of that choice…but does he himself ever pine for a Yorkie bar?”

If it counts then definitely Munchies. Mein Gott they are ridiculously moreish. If they don't count cuz they're not a bar then I'd struggle to choose between Lion, Yorkie & KitKat Chunky.

@Mark Albrighton Here you go. This thing was the absolute peak. So the story goes it was discontinued as the production costs were deemed too high. A tragic loss, up there with Terry's Pyramint.

Controversial choice, but I'm going for the Caramac. Haven't had one in about 15 years but I miss them

My Mum was addicted to Caramac. I ate one once and threw up. Could never go near one again. Just the sight of that babyshit brown colour triggers my gag reflex.

Dairymilk do a Caramilk bar nowadays, it's alright but not quite as good.

Hardly anyone likes them, they used to be the only thing that was left in my sixth form common room's vending machine, I was pretty much the only person to keep buying them

Don't think I've had one since tbh, but I'm not really a chocolate bar person, don't have much of a sweet tooth these days

This is the correct analysis.  They’re not the nicest, that varies, but if I could only have one flavour for the rest of my life, then ready salted is it.

Yep, count me with Team Ready Salted, too.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I should slso state that I own at least two pairs of beige chinos.

Lays Gourmet from Spain ( though actually made in Portugal ) are the best Ready Salted , you can sometimes get them over here in certain shops

I can neither confirm nor deny that Walkers  Ready Salted  might be getting a slight tweak in the coming months

Another one for Ready Salted. You know what you are getting every time, whether Walkers, Kettle, Seabrook, McCoys, they are all consistent.

With a lot of other flavours they taste absolutely nothing like they claim to be (apart from maybe Salt and Vinegar)

Smoky Bacon, Roast Chicken, and Prawn Cocktail are the worst culprits, anyone who thinks that any of those 3 taste like what they claim to be needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

Very appropriate product name because I have never heard of it!

Was basically a bar version of a walnut whip without the need to remove the walnut from the top and lob it in the bin

I’m someone that eats chocolate for breakfast but that dairy milk caramilk bar was really not that good , the limited edition Toblerone was the best Caramel bar out there , shame they discontinued it

Don’t artisan chocolate people just call Caramac like chocolate blonde chocolate?

That was certainly my impression when I tried blonde chocolate. Takes like an upmarket shit version of caramac
